This is a hand-made removable beaver tail.
This model is reversible: clean on the front and with zippered access on the other side. It also has billows so it expands to some point when you fill it. Put small items right into the tail. Stuff larger things behind it.
It has two 1.5" straps on the bottom with 2" spacing between them. Pass these straps through triglide buckles on you backpack. Remove side release buckles from compression straps of your backpack and pass that straps through buckles that come with the tail. If you want to change the side of a tail, remove the buckles it comes with, flip them and reinstall.
