Proudly made in North Carolina, USA, these lightweight 3a hard plates are crafted from Armorcore Ballistic Fiberglass, and have a 20-year shelf life when properly stored and handled.  Thats FOUR TIMES the life of a standard 3a Kevlar or PE insert! As opposed to steel armor,  ballistic fiberglass resists dangerous bullet fragmentation, as the entire round is absorbed by the armor plate, which mitigates the risk from frag and eliminates the need for build-up coating. Unlike other brands, which arrive unfinished, covered in fiberglass dust, and require painting, our plates are pre-coated in two layers of bedliner to protect the plates and prevent splinters while handling.  Listing includes a pair of 10x12 3a hard plates only.
