The Specialist Underbelt is purpose-designed to be the most functional and lowest profile underbelt available. The Specialist Underbelt utilizes a specialty hook-and-loop material that allows it to adhere to any outer-belt lined with either hook or loop. Unlike the traditional buckle-less underbelt used with most two-belt systems the Specialist Underbelt can be used as a standalone belt if necessary, making it a complete upgrade to the performance and usability of any two-belt system.

The Specialist Underbelt uses a specialized hook and loop material that combines hook and loop on the same face. This allows the hook and loop material to fasten to itself. This means that the entire tail section will secure to the body of the belt which provides a more stable platform for your outer/duty belt and allows the Specialist Underbelt to use such a low profile buckle. This also means that the Specialist Underbelt can fasten to any outer/duty belt that has either a hook or loop lining.    
1.5” Nylon scuba webbing core
The Specialist Underbelt uses a rigid nylon scuba webbing core to provide enough strength to support an outer/duty belt with ease. With construction methods that approximate the Specialist Pro, the Specialist Underbelt can also be used as a stand-alone AIWB / IWB concealed carry belt, something that cannot be done with most other underbelts.
1.5” US made steel buckle
The Specialist Underbelt features the lowest profile steel buckle possible. The Specialist Underbelt is able to use a single loop buckle because the specialized hook and loop material of the tail means the entire tail of the belt will be secured to the body of the belt providing a high level of security. This low profile buckle doesn’t interfere with the buckle on your outer belt and allows the Specialist Underbelt to have almost the entire exterior of the belt covered in the specialized hook and loop material which ensures the most stable platform for your outer belt to attach to.

Sizing Shortcut:
If you do not want to take a belt measurement to find your belt size selecting a belt size 2” larger than your true pants size will provide a properly fitting belt. Adding 2” to your pants size will not work if your pants are vanity sized
your pants are labelled as a smaller size than they actually are). Our belts are sized in inches which means you cannot order the same size belt that your wear from a different manufacturer as many belts are also vanity sized. Do not order the same size belt as your pants size, this will result in a belt that is too small.   
How to take a belt measurement
The easiest way to find the proper size belt is to take a belt you currently have that fits you well and measure it. Make sure the belt you are measuring fits with all the gear you plan on carrying. Our belts are sized in inches and can adjust approximately 2” smaller to 2” larger than the labelled size.
To measure a leather belt with holes, lay the belt flat and measure from the end of the buckle to the hole that you use. Select the belt size that is closest to your measurement in inches (if you are between sizes we recommend that you round up).
To measure a nylon belt with a hook and loop closure lay the belt flat and measure from the end of the buckle to the crease in the tail of the belt (the tail will have a crease in the location that you adjust it to when you wear it.) Select the belt size that is closest to your measurement in inches (if you are between sizes we recommend that you round up).
