Rothco laser cut plate carrier with two Kevlar® XP™ Soft Flexible Bullet Resistant Armor Inserts: These two made in America Kevlar Panels are 10” x 12” and have a SAPI angled cut. They only weigh 1.4 pounds each.
The Kevlar soft inserts are rated NIJ IIIA ( 44mag, 357mag, 9mm )and we add extra layers for additional Back-Face Deformation Protection for under 44 mm. Our 29 layer Kevlar® XP™ Panels weigh only 1.4 pounds and are 1/2" thick. It helps reduce potentially serious ballistic and trauma injuries using a proprietary Uni-Directional cross ply technology.
MOur Soft Armor Panels are made with 100% DuPont™ Kevlar® XP™ A Durable Black Marine Grade Fabric with Water Repellant Coating keeps the Kevlar Insert protected from UV light and moisture exposure
This Kevlar Panel reduces the back face deformation of projectile impacts by 15% when compared to other ballistic models. And weighs at least 10% less than those made with other commercially available technologies, while still being made of 100% Kevlar® material
With other Kevlar Panels, when a bullet strikes a standard bullet-resistant vest, the resulting backface deformation could cause serious ballistic or trauma injuries. The Rothco plate carrier is not made in the US as are most carriers on EBay and is brand new never used. It’s made with the same high quality materials found in much more expensive plate carriers. Also we never get returns on these vests because the vest is made to fit just about everyone. It’s a “one size fits all” multi adjustable vest and is very comfortable to wear for extended hours. When worn with the Fiberglass plates it protects its wearer from high powered handguns rated up to a 44 Mag, 357 mag, 9mm and all lesser handgun threats.
Rothco’s Laser Cut MOLLE Plate Carrier Vest is engineered to provide low-profile, lightweight integration to your MOLLE compatible gear. Place your armor plate in the front and back pockets (15” X 11 ¼” X 1”) On the side of the cummerbund there are (6” X 7”) pockets for optional side protection.
The cummerbund is fully detachable and adjustable. It can extend to 56”, making it one size fits most. Attach additional pouches and accessories with the laser cut MOLLE compatible straps located on the front and back of the vest and on the sides of the cummerbund (14 rows on the front and back, and 5 rows on the cummerbund). The top 4 rows of MOLLE straps on the front and the back are loop-covered for patch attachment. For added protection, the tactical vest comes with interior air mesh padding. Store your phone, keys, and other small essentials in the top front hook and loop admin-type pocket. The adjustable shoulder straps feature detachable pads for added comfort and hard ABS plastic quick-release buckles. If you want to add a hydration pack, the MOLLE vest includes hydration hose points on both shoulder straps for a convenient source of water while in the field. In case of an injury, the back of the military vest offers an emergency drag handle so your comrade can pull you to safety. Designed with denier polyester and laser cut MOLLE, the armor plate carrier vest is ideally lightweight so you can move freely while in combat.
