Rope bag for tactical play-out of 120-ft. rappelling rope. Made by Eagle
Industries in St. Louis, MO, about 2005. NEW, unused. Olive green
color. Carry handles sewn around the bag, not just tacked on at the top of
bag. Made of 1000 denier Cordura nylon. Velcro opening on one end for the
rope deployment. When not used for carrying a rope, the bag makes a good
general purpose "stuff"-carrying bag/travel bag. Slotted webbing on back
side of bag for whatever. Dual slide heavy duty YKK zipper. When laid
flat, dimensions are 17-inches long x 11-inches high. When filled out, the
bag is actually round in shape. Heavy duty welded steel "D" rings on each
end of bag for shoulder strap.
Eagle Industries, Unlimited was sold to ATK in Minneapolis, MN, in 2010,
signaling the end of a great era in tactical gear manufacturing. Eagle was,
after all, the standard by which all other nylon brands were judged.
