This is a hand-made removable beaver tail.
Do your own judgement if it fits your backpack.
On the bottom it has 4 straps with triglide buckles and supposed to be mounted through milspec 1.5" molle cells, you need 6 of them on the bottom of your pack. Higher on the sides it mounts to backpack's side molle via hooks.
Device is used to carry a helmet, boots, jacket etc
Double adjustable side release buckles allow you to use webbing as a compression strap without a beaver tail or when it is folded down. You can slide a buttstock in it and carry a rifle that way.
